Farmer Dave's Meats is a family-run farm rooted in regenerative agriculture, with farms in both the Comox Valley and Kelowna. Our chickens are raised very differently from conventional poultry.
They live outdoors in our solar powered mobile RovaBarns, which are moved onto fresh pasture three times every day, giving the birds constant access to clean grass, insects, sunshine, and fresh air. We grow diverse pasture specifically for the chickens, creating what we like to call an all-you-can-eat fresh grass buffet.
They are fed a Non-GMO grain ration alongside the forage they naturally consume while roaming pasture.

Grass-Fed Lamb
Our lambs are rotationally grazed on the lush pastures of our Kelowna farm using regenerative farming practices that promote healthy soils, thriving pastures, and exceptional animal welfare. They enjoy a grass-fed diet throughout their lives, with a small amount of peas and lentils offered each evening to encourage them back to their secure overnight barn, where they're protected from predators.
Lambs are available as whole or half lambs, with an average hanging weight of approximately 50 lbs. Priced at $14.00 per pound based on hanging weight, this includes slaughter, custom cutting, vacuum packaging, and wrapping—there are no additional processing fees.
